Foreigners have begun to lose respect for USGovt approach to problem solving, for US bank administration, and for USDollar custodial management. Foreigner creditors have suffered deep losses from fraudulent bond export, continue to sit atop mountains of US$-based debt securities, and watch current events in horror.

Gold jewellery will be included in the Links of London Anthology Collection, which has just been launched.

The jeweller has included pendants, earrings with 18-c flanks and a necklace with an 18-c white gold chain among the items partly or wholly made from the precious metal, Elite Traveller has stated.

For this year, the collection will contain a range of motifs and engravings based on nature and traditional motifs.

Links of London started in 1990 following the commissioning of fish-shaped cufflinks by a restaurant owner in London.

In other jewellery news, an exhibition of gold products has been launched in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The four-day event, which is being held at the Hilton Hotel in the city, features products from over 60 companies, including many from abroad, the Saudi Gazette reported this week.

Ornaments, watches and jewellery pieces are among the gold items on display.

Moto Goldmines has announced that it has bought a stake in Kilo Goldmines amounting to 20 per cent of the latter company's stock.

The acquisition has seen Moto acquire 7,853,353 common shares out of the outstanding total of 39,266,766, as well as ownership of 1,297,400 warrants to purchase common shares from Kilo, with each worth AU$0.60 (29p) for two years.

Moto's move is the culmination of an agreement signed in November 2006 that sees Moto transfer to Kilo the rights and obligations for a number of projects based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in return for the shares.

It was stated that Moto is not currently seeking to acquire more Kilo shares.

Earlier this month Moto released the results of a feasibility study on a site in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The study found that the Moto Gold project can produce 484,000 ounces of gold per annum over the first five years of mining at the location, with the mine's total lifespan being 16 years.

Gold mining to resume at Caijiaying property

The resumption date for gold mining at Caijiaying property has been announced by its owners Griffin Mining.

June 1st will see production restarting at the site, with this being delayed as remaining ore stockpiles were worked up until February, leading to important maintenance operations being held up.

Poor winter weather and delays in the arrival of some parts also set back the preparatory work.

Griffin had previously announced its intention to resume mining at Caijiaying on December 19th last year.

In June 2008 the company's chairman Mladen Ninkov outlined the company's plans for the mine at its annual general meeting.

These included construction work to increase the capacity of the mill to process 750,000 tonnes of ore each year, plus an underground drive between the zone two and zone three areas, allowing further development of the former location and more exploratory drilling.
