A set of screens decorated with gold leaf have been returned to a temple in Japan. Japan Today reports that the items were sold 115 years ago from their home at the Ryoanji Buddhist temple in Kyoto but they have now been returned to their old home in the main hall.

A man has struck gold in Estonia after uncovering a piece of buried jewellery. Jarva Teataja reports that Aivar Piirsalu, who lives in the town of Ootla in Jarva County, was exploring a field with his metal detector this month when the alarm sounded.
